MEMBERSHIP
There are two categories of membership.
We call them full membership and corresponding membership.
Full membership
- is open to organised European national societies for hand therapy,
consisting of therapists who have a state registered qualification
to practice as a physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
- A country may only be represented by one national society.
- The national society must be legal by their national law and / or recognised by their national professional bodies.
- Full membership is not open to individuals.
Corresponding membership
- is open to individuals, fully qualified in physiotherapy or occupational therapy, living in European countries not yet able to form a national society legal by their national law or recognised by their national professional bodies.
- Corresponding members may attend meetings and receive correspondence, but have no voting right.
For further information on rights and obligations of members
